work it, let me work it. put my thing down, flip and reverse it

so, in my efforts to be a productive person, i went to work today. the work outside the home stuff. oh, and to pay my mortgage. :oD

there's a lot of new stuff at the store... which means i bought some stuff. i still have a credit. so it's totally not like i spent money. AND the purse i picked out was favoured by rachel, so i'm going to give it to her for her birthday. i really don't need another bag. and there's this cute hula girl one anyway. anyway, rach picked out some stuff she liked and mahli did too. it was fun. and a nice break from weird-o customers.

rach, mahli and i went for indian tonight. we decided to go to kohinoor. which has tastey food, but the service is pretty weak. we talked about movies. rachel can only remember the names of two famous people: kate blanchett (sp?) and mel gibson. it was great. and we made fun of my taste in guys... which is completely opposite to rachel's. example: rachel thinks robert redford is hot for an old guy... i say: leather face! i think ewan is waaaay hot...she doesn't really know who he is. which is almost a sin. :oD and then when i explained, she was like, ew!!!

hot guys to me, that rachel thinks are gross:
ewan mcgregor
viggo mortenson
aidan (from sex & the city)
joaquin phoenix
chris noth

hot guys for rachel, gross to me:
robert redford
barishnakov (sp?)

people we agreed we'd date:
jack black, cause he's soooooo funny
hugh grant, who won a place in my heart with love, actually

we also talked about friends that are gay but don't know it. friends that were gay, but aren't now. and percentages of gay/straight: like how straight are you in relation to how gay you are. and we talked about friends getting wives. literally.

all in all, a fun day. we also tried to get mahli to move here. i think it's working. i gave her the low-down on prices of condos here vs. D.C. i think she's interested. now we just need to get her a job.

i want all of my friends to move to b.c. i would like that.
