going irish

after all this talk of Daniel O'Donnell on gerry's blog i decided that this is more than likely a truly irish experience, and if i have any intention of getting jokes while i'm there, i must, like most things, experience it first hand.

well, he's no gerry o'keane from the wellington. but please, check out his website, and see why he has earned a special spot in my not-at-all irish heart. i think it's the roses. and the wedding song. i kind of got all tingly listening to it.

recommended listening includes, but is not exclusive of:

forty shades of green (it is my favourite colour, afterall)
the wedding song (so romantic, how could one resist, really?)
oh, danny boy (how many times have you thought those very words?)
eileen (it kind of reminds me of the sam roberts tune, don't walk away eileen)

oh, i'm in on being irish. wurrd.
