summer's here!

yesterday, as mentioned, i bought the latest harry potter book. today i finished it. good times.

i *was* going to start packing today, but got distracted with computer/design and book things. luckily i did some dishes. it looks like a bomb exploaded in here. i have boxes everywhere. i can't even walk on one side of my bed very well because of all the boxes. argh. BUT i move in like (mhmygosh) 10 days. whoa.

wow. i feel like that's really snuck up on me. oh well. in 11 days i'll be in tahoe and i'll be getting floors and painting done at my new place, so whatever... i shouldn't even worry about that. i need to focus on getting a tan in tahoe. and on gambling. and nobody wants to get those tanned frown lines... nope!

tomorrow i go to look at some of those flooring options with the dude (rachel's dad prefers this title) and then ian's going to put up my airconditioner in my bedroom tomorrow. i feel like it's hardly worth it for the time i'll still be here, but whatever, he's the one who has to take it down, and being cool at night does make me happy. :o) so i'm pleased with the offer, and will be even more pleased when i blissfully sleep.

it also pleases me to have airconditioning and a sunroof. it got hot here all of a sudden. seriously. saturday was still not summer, despite the weather being perfect for the wedding, but sunday, as mentioned, blinded me. today was f'ing hot, and some guy who was checking out this girl walking up the hill almost smashed into me because he was staring so hard. i wanted to scream at him. the perfect sign that summer has arrived in kitsilano: girls in even skimpier outifts than usual, and pervy old men checking them out.

rachel's back tomorrow... or later today rather! yahoo! welcome back ratch-hell! and on friday sarah gets here! yay!!! i want to get packing done quickly so that we can spend heaps of time chillaxing and hanging out.
