ketchup again

a quick ketchup cause i've been using my time to sleep (or try to) instead of blogging.

wednesday also involved me getting $4 from toren. i'd given him a code from a star wars scratch and win thingy and it turns out we won $7. but i didn't have 50¢ to give back. i obviously won in that situation!

thursday

i went to hope and did some boring stuff like check on the houses there. and some exciting stuff, like see my doctor and get measured. it's official. i'm 175cm. i could be a bit taller, because i had to put my feet against the wall, but my bum sticks out so much i was kind of angled. but the official count is 175. until i see another doctor and get measured again. i also got my toe nails painted again-pink with cute daisies. yahoo!!

oh, and ian and i met up in langley for some drinks and UK cosmo reading. we were at chapters, and my drink was ready, we were waiting for his. he decided to go to the washroom and i was going to take his drink to the table. his drink was balanced on my plate and things were going really well. until go to the table, where his drink tipped and burned my boob and then my drink fell too. not that much liquid was lost, but it wasn't very fun. the cosmo reading was, of course very very fun. oh UK cosmo, so trashy and dirty and stupid. but soooooo good!

that night i went to bed at 10.30 and after falling asleep, slept and slept and slept.

friday (i hate safeway)

got up at 8.30. talked to G for an hour, and then went back to bed for a few more hours. i seriously could not have stayed awake any longer. BUT cheryl gave me good info that i will start work on next week. (including a suggestion of buying new sheets... she knows how to get me to listen!).

got up, went to the store to get ingredients for cupcakes from safeway. they only had self-raising cake flour and no non-fat buttermilk. so i had to cheat on the cupcakes. the icing was easy to make. just some cream cheese, butter and sugar. so they had all of those ingredients.

went to drexoll and played LOSER! and carcassonne. i kicked ass at carca. i would like to give some credit to jeffy and kenji who have helped me train for events like this... where i can beat nerds at their own games. mwah hah hah! LOSER! was a game that would have been more funny drunk. but we weren't, stephane lost at LOSER! and then we moved on. to carca. we played with some expansions... the princess and dragon and the pig and the fairy and the river. i don't know which are separate expansions, but i learned new stuff.

then i went to anghold's for the tailend of the canada day barbeque. i brought more cupcakes, visited for a bit and then was tired. it was nice to see some of the people i don't visit with often. what with leaving soon and all.

saturday (hair did)
woke up tired, but had to go and get my hair did. i had serious rooting issues and with the stagette tonight, there will be pictures taken. i didn't want to get embarrassed. i DIDN'T go to the gym, like i had planned, and now can't go until maybe tomorrow, because i will have to shower, and my hair won't be flat anymore. i will have to have curly hair... so, i'm going to take one for the team, and not go. i may be able to work in a nap instead.
