*phewsh* finally back online. the internet and phones in cork have been down for the past couple of days. it was like being back in the dark ages. i couldn't look for a job, check my email, blog, read blogs, etc.. murder. *gosh*
to catch you up:
gerry's party was a success... lots of people showed up, and lovely food was had.
still no job, was supposed to hear about this one spot that was a temp spot that would finish right as i was expecting guests, so it sounded decent. no go though.
the heating has probably been fixed at the house, after yer man had to dig up half of the second bathroom. he'll be back thursday to fix the gaping hole left in the ground, and to make sure he's found the leak, and that there was only one.
gerry has next week off work now, so we're trying to figure out if we can go on a late break somewhere.
today i made rice krispie squares with the left over marshmallows from the barbeque. and DAY-AMN they are good. i've eaten a million, and plan to eat a million more!
yesterday i found the daily show on sky (killing time because there was no internet). that helps me towards happiness.
