that quickly became our motto at the blackjack table today.
ian went to northstar for biking today, and i went to the casino for blackjack. i walked away from the table over $400 richer. saweet. as tradition dictates, dinner is on me tonight. the woman beside me at the table that i talked shop (bags and shoes) with suggested this restaurant in the hotel, so i got the pitboss to make me reservations. yay! dinner's at 8.
oh yeah! last night, after dinner, ian went back to the hotel to check his email and see what was going on with the bank, and i waited for him at the casino. he was supposed to be right back, but wasn't. as soon as i started waiting for him, a woman came up to me and asked me to go to breakfast with her. i'd like to say she was totally sober and totally hot, but she wasn't. when i was still waiting for ian like 30 mins. later, she re-approached me. i left shortly after that.
today, as i was getting my grande passion lemonade at starbucks, a cute girl approached me and asked me if my (cheap, london drugs) sunglasses were sunglasses. and i was like, uh, no. they were like $20 canadian. so then she went on and on about where she works, and asked for my email address, and talked about how nice people in oregon, washington and BC are.
seriously, i totally do NOT get approached by normal people. it's always unstable people. at least i didn't have to lie to either one. and the second girl did seem nice. just super super friendly. oh wait, that's a lie. the woman at the blackjack table seemed normal... if eccentric, and extremely rich. we'll see her at dinner tonight. she made reservations for 7.45.
