the following contains graphic details about my body that you may or may not want to read. it's your choice. i would like to remind you all of the last time i said this. same location, different situation.
so, i've been going to the chiropractor for a good few weeks now... probably 6 or so. let me tell you, it's totally dipping into my savings... but that's a whole other story. anyway, turns out there's a problem with this muscle that joins my abs to my hips not being strong enough...which is a bit weird, cause i'm pretty killer at crunches. anyway, sometimes he cracks my bum. well...we can call it the tailbone, or whatever, but he totally prods around there like nobody's business.
he has explained that because of this weakness, my back has made up for it, and curved the wrong way, putting pressure on the joints of the lower back, blah blah blah. i *do* feel like it's getting corrected, and i *do* feel like yesterday was a very intense session... so it makes sense that there would be a noticable difference today.
this is where the weird/graphic part comes in. (she pauses to think that it might be weird for gerry to read these things in public). i have my period. i use tampons. i think the changes in back/pelvis positioning has caused a bit of an issue. i got to work and after a while of sitting down i was like: huh, the situation down there is a bit uncomfortable. i'll go do a switcheroo, cause maybe it's just lost it's position. not following my own rule of travel with at least 2 tampons, i had no back up when i had trouble with positioning of the replacement. but it was fine enough. but after an hour or so, it was unbearable so i switched again. at first everything was fine, but once i sat down, it was horrible! and by afternoon, no matter what i did, i was in some serious discomfort... no actually, it was pain.
so, i've gone home and switched to my least favourite form of period protection... but until i figure this out, this is what it is. is this even possible?
