i am madly trying to learn dutch for tomorrow. i know that i used to think that i can speak dutch, but i am quickly seeing that i don't know words like "freight" or even "purchase order" although, it does make sense that "purchase order" translates the same as "buying order" and *of course* i know how to say "buy" and "order"!
with combined efforts i have a list of words gerry thinks i might need, and some phrases i think i might need that have been translated and put into study sheets. i have two interviews tomorrow... basically for the same job at two different companies, to which i will wear the same freshly ironed shirt (note, i did not say well) and will hoepfully wow them with my charm and my newly acquired language.
poffertjes anyone? speaking of which... gerry, let's go to the netherlands one weekend... before the stag, otherwise you'll probably be denied entry.
