rain makes people grumpy

despite everyone sorta knowing that the rain is desperately needed, it makes people grumpy because they've been spoiled all summer.

today was a really weird day at work. there were weird, and often grumpy customers. but caley and i had fun... well, we made the most of it, and got really excited when a boy-boy couple came in to buy a present for a boy-boy couple from the states who have come to canada to get married.

caley's anxiety of the day was that wrapzone was changing their menu today. and then she was happy because it still has our favourites, and some fun new items. but i swear, the first thing she said was: i have to tell you something, wrap zone is changing their menu today.

after work i went to capers to pick up some more stuff for the barbeque, and the clerk asked me if i was listening to an iPod. and then we had exciting conversation about how much we love macs and how much i love my iPod, etc.

then i bought expensive (or more expensive) sparkling wine, for the bellinis. and because i didn't really care, and wanted to get home. so, good for the wine guy to sell me the more expensive stuff by giving me product knowledge. he deserves the sale, for getting me to tell him what i'm making and for knowing which ones were originally used in bellinis.
